Custom Non-Slip Socks

Grippy socks are becoming increasingly popular as they allow people with disabilities, arthritis, or oedema to be more active without the discomfort of slippery floors and shoes. Grip Socks provide a unique solution to this problem by using pads on the inside and outside of the sock.

These socks can be customized with your own Pantone colors and outfitted with 100% custom rubber grips on the bottom to prevent slipping. They are also machine washable and very comfortable to wear.

Customization

Custom socks are a great way to show off your unique personality. You can design a pair for yourself or for a loved one as a thoughtful gift. Whether you choose to use direct-to-garment printing or sublimation, your socks will look professional and high-quality.

Non-slip socks are a popular option for people who want to enjoy the benefits of bare feet without the risk of slipping or falling. They can also help reduce the amount of dirt in shoes, preventing infections and other health concerns.

Non-slip socks are available in a variety of colors and can be customized with logos, designs, or even faces. They can be made with a single face or multiple faces and come in men’s sizes up to 12. They can be worn as casual fashion pieces or for athletic activities such as running, walking, or yoga. They can also be worn as work uniforms or as part of a promotional campaign.

Material

Whether it’s a cozy pair of socks for sleepy Saturdays or sporty socks to help find balance on the yoga mat, our custom grip socks are made from quality materials. You can choose from flocking fabric, PVC glue or silica gel. The latter is used to provide excellent skid resistance and a soft feeling on the feet. The former is brushed layer by layer and needs to be carefully checked for air bubbles, a smooth surface and rough edge trimming in order to meet high quality standards.

The two commercially available non-slip sock products and one brand of compression stocking were tested in a blinded, independent materials testing laboratory (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation’s Manufacturing and Materials Technology Laboratory at Highett, Victoria). The Wet Pendulum Friction Test was used because it replicates the foot slipping behaviours encountered by hospital patients when mobilising on slippery surfaces. It was expected that the non-slip socks would exhibit improved slip resistance relative to the compression stockings and bare feet.

Printing

Whether you’re looking to thank dedicated team members or encourage fans to cheer your brand, custom socks are a great way to show your appreciation. They’re also a great promotional tool and can be printed with custom branded labels for easy packaging.

The printing process varies depending on the type of design you’re creating. Some printing options include digital print, screen printing, and sublimation. Digital print is a popular choice because it allows for multiple colors and offers high-resolution artwork. However, it may not be as durable as other types of printing.

Screen printing is another option that uses heat to transfer the design onto the sock. This method can create a more seamless look and is ideal for larger patterns. However, it can be difficult to reproduce fine details and thin lines because of the fuzzy nature of sock fiber.

Packaging

Whether your company is looking to promote a healthy lifestyle or just wants to add some fun recognition to a staff meeting, custom grip socks are the way to go. They’re comfortable, grippy, and they’ll leave an impression on the recipient every time they put on their shoes.

Ethics approval was obtained from the Princess Alexandra Hospital Human Research Ethics Committee and a two phase study was designed. In phase one, a convenience sample of three brands of non slip socks and compression stockings were tested for slip resistance in a blinded materials testing laboratory (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation’s Manufacturing and Materials Technology Laboratory in Victoria).

The testing method used was the Wet Pendulum Test which is a variation of the Inclined Ramp Test. Results showed that the three commercially available products performed differently in this testing condition with slipping occurring at different angles for each product. This is similar to the findings of previous studies that have linked mobilisation in conditions other than ideal footwear with an increased risk of falls.custom non-slip socks
